Finding the enemy before they launch their drone. Ukrainian company Pegasus Arms LLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the German technology group Rohde & Schwarz. The parties are joining forces to create cutting-edge solutions in aerial reconnaissance and electronic support.
The primary goal of the negotiations is to combine technological solutions from Pegasus Arms and Rohde & Schwarz, significantly expanding the capabilities of drones for military applications.
Within the framework of this memorandum, the parties have already defined the first practical steps:
- Joint development and Proof of Concept (PoC);
- Pilot system configuration;
- Validation of the developed solutions.
"The integration of world-class solutions from Rohde & Schwarz opens up entirely new possibilities for our UAVs," says Illia Samoshkin, Director of Pegasus Arms. "Equipping our drones with advanced Rohde & Schwarz systems will broaden their operational range. For instance, the Pegasus Arms 25 will now be able to do more than just transport a payload from point A to point B; it will gain new functions that will come as an unpleasant surprise to the enemy."
Pegasus Arms' developments have already proven their undeniable effectiveness on the battlefield. To date, more than 1,500 of the company’s heavy bombers are operational at the front, equipping every second unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Last year alone, Pegasus Arms crews inflicted billions of dollars in damage on the enemy, accounting for hundreds of destroyed tanks and armored vehicles. The integration of Rohde & Schwarz’s latest systems will allow these battle-hardened aircraft to not only eliminate targets, lay mines, or manage logistics but also perform fundamentally new missions previously unavailable to UAVs.

The collaboration with Rohde & Schwarz is a logical progression of Pegasus Arms' development strategy. As previously reported, the company's 2026 roadmap included creating new solutions to clear the Ukrainian sky of enemy drones. Integrating state-of-the-art systems into reliable unmanned platforms will significantly enhance drone functionality and provide the Ukrainian military with an even greater technological edge.
